REQUIREMENTS

Official Transcripts:​

The cumulative GPA, weighted or unweighted must appear on the transcript. .

Resume: one-page limit.

Personal Statement:

In 700 – 850 words, please answer a three-part question as a single essay.

One Faculty Letter of Recommendation:
-
​One letter of recommendation from an advisor, dean, principal, faculty or instructor – i.e. someone who can speak on behalf of your academics.

One Peer Letter of Recommendation:
-
One peer letter of recommendation from a friend, classmate, lab partner, teammate, member of a student/youth organization. The letter may not be from a mentor, coach, or supervisor, unless that individual is within your same age group.

Photo:

The photo will not be used in the scholarship selection, but rather used for publications of scholarship recipients, in print and online.​

Straight North Scholarship
DEADLINE: August 1, 2018
PRIZE: $1000, and 2 additional runner-ups will be awarded $200 for books
​
With Internet marketing becoming more complex and challenging by the day, successful execution requires a solid education. As an industry leader, Straight North supports students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) disciplines.
Through the Straight North STEM Scholarship, the winning student is awarded $1,000 to be used toward his or her degree. In addition, the two runners-up are awarded $250 book scholarships.
REQUIREMENTS
In order to qualify, undergraduate or graduate students must be majoring in a STEM field of study, and attending an accredited college or university.
