DIY Girls: Exploring Engineering with CSUN SWE

Kicking off National Women's History Month, CSUN SWE and DIY Girls are partnering up to have an Exploring Engineering day at CSUN. We will be teaching a group middle school girls about the different disciplines within engineering by participating in a hands-on project, presentation, discussion and more! 3D Printing Workshop

CSUN SWE will be hosting a basic 3D printing workshop! This workshop will be a free introduction to basic 3D modeling and 3D printing using SolidWorks. Learn advanced techniques to help you succeed in your design class and in any design of a component! Computers will be provided.

PSPICE Workshop
Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018 (5:30pm-7:30pm)

This workshop will teach you the basics of Pspice 16/17 and give you a head start in all your design classes. If possible we request you bring your own laptop with pspice 16/17 (or any spice software, LTSpice, Pspice 9 , or the CSUN VSL) installed. We do NOT have the time to install or troubleshoot the software. Space is limited so please sign up soon.

VEX Robotics Competition: Rumble in the Jungle

Currently looking for volunteers to be referees, inspectors and judges. This is an all day event. Volunteers are to arrive and check in at 7:00am and the event is intended to end at approximately 5:30pm. Volunteers will be provided with lunch, free of charge. No prior knowledge or experience is required since there will be training before the event.

PCC Hackathon

Students will form teams around an idea or problem and collaboratively code a solution from scratch. Note that to come up and implement a great idea takes more than just code so team members are not restricted to just programmers. Throughout the day there will also be workshops, speakers, and of course food! People will create websites, apps, physical prototypes, and more that they will ultimately present to judges and compete for prizes.
